CHOCOLATE CHERRY CAKE

- from Cupcake recipe
1 pkg. (18 to 25 oz.) fudge cake mix
1 (21 oz.) can cherry pie filling
1 tsp. almond extract
2 beaten eggs
Grease and flour 13 x 9 x 2 inch pan. Combine cake mix, pie filling, almond
extract and eggs. Stir by hand until well mixed. Pour into prepared pan. Bake
at 350 degrees for 20 to 30 minutes. --FROSTING:--
1 c. sugar
5 tbsp. butter or margarine
1/3 c. milk
1 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips
Combine all ingredients except chocolate chips. Boil, stirring constantly 1
minute. Remove from heat. Stir in chocolate chips until smooth. Pour over
partially cooled cake.
